Sitting Seals
Fort Funston Posts About a month ago +Amy Heiden +Joe Azure +Jameson Savage and I headed down to Fort Funston to chase some sunset light and grab some long exposures of these posts.
The Evening Flow Took this back in February on Baker Beach. While walking to the end of this beach, I knew I was going to want something to comp into the foreground. Further up on shore there is always lots of driftwood and branches that get pushed up on shore, so I went looked around for the best one. As I like to say, if the scene isn't there make it yourself! So I dragged this down the beach and set it up. The swells will move it around so you have to be quick getting it while its not moving. It's amazing how much this branch did for this shot. 0.6 Seconds ISO 160 f/16 Processed in Lightroom 4 and Nik's Color Efex Pro 4
